Friday, October 17th:  Ms. Peller discussed Ward School's MCAS scores, Karin Gavish shared the five Walking School Bus Routes, PTO discussion of paving for wallball, hopscotch, map, budget information needs, box tops program, directory timeline and future meeting topics.

Friday, November 14th:   At this meeting we heard helpful suggestions from Ward Literacy Specialist Naomi Singer in a powerpoint presentation entitled "Strategies to Support Reading at Home".  Do you know the level of "Just Right" book your child is reading?  Did you know once you know the A- Z just right level, you can check the scholastic website to see recommended books for that level?  See these and other reading tips by looking through Naomi's presentation by clicking on the powerpoint presentation below.

Friday, January 16th:  We will discuss fundraising efforts for the spring and changing budget needs for the school.  We welcome any ideas you have.  Please join us!
