Family Math and Technology  Night will be held on Thursday, March 12th (snow date March 17th) from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM.  This is an event you and your child will not want to miss.  On this evening we provide opportunities for parents and children to enjoy math activities together.  At each grade level, there will be a sampling of games and activities from our math curriculum that you and your child can do together.  As part of Estimation Week, each classroom has posed questions that are displayed in the hallway outside the classroom.  Students are assigned questions from two grade levels in addition to their own and have a master sheet to record their estimates.  You and your child may choose to visit some of the estimation activities assigned to your child's classroom. Our goal is to generate discussion and provide insights into thinking and reasoning skills.   Be sure to visit our library to view examples of students using technology to work together to construct knowledge and communicate what they have learned.  There will be interactive opportunities to experience some of these activities.  In order to ensure safety for all students, please remember that you are responsible for supervising your child on this evening.
