All-City Orchestra

School Council Opening

The PTO is seeking one Ward parent to participate in the Ward School Council.  The School Council is an advisory group assisting the principal in identifying educational needs and goals of Ward students. The Council also reviews the school building budget and develops the school improvement plan. It holds four to six open meetings during the school year (historically in the afternoon, just after dismissal).

3rd Grade Supplies List for 2012-13

Greetings to all incoming grade three parents! 
Though we are still near the beginning of the summer, we are busily thinking ahead for this coming school year. We want you to have enough time to plan and purchase the following supplies necessary for 3rd grade.

Ward School Construction Project

August 31, 2012
 
A great deal of work is being done to repair our building, most of which is related to repointing the brick walls. The front steps were in need of repair; cracks between the granite slabs have been filled and the steps have been re-levelled. There is also work being done to patch our roof. The front of the building will be completed by the opening of school so that the front door will be accessible.

We are looking forward to working with you and your child in the fall.   In an effort to have a successful school year, we ask that your child bring the following supplies on the first day of school. We thought it best to make this request in a timely manner so that you may take advantage of the many back to school specials offered over the summer.
