And Now a Word From the PTO
We would like to thank the Ward families who have already generously contributed to the Annual Fund. We have raised over $17K in a very short amount of time! As the end of the year approaches, please consider the Ward School when making your charitable contributions. Please click here to donate.
What: Bi-annual spring event featuring mingling, food, drinks and live and silent auctions
When: April 6, 2013
Where: Newton Highlands Congregational Church, 154 Lincoln Street
Do you have a few morning hours to give us in the next few weeks? Join a small, fun group of volunteers on the auction committee to reach out by phone, online or in person to the many prior and new auction sponsors. We have the lists but not the time to take advantage of the holiday spirit and secure auction items for our spring event. Combine it with your own holiday shopping, start with a friend at your favorite coffee shop - the options are endless! Sign up at the PTO meeting this Friday December 7th or email Cindy firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next school council meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 10th from 3:30 to 4:30 in Audrey Peller's office. All are welcome to attend. The School Council is an advisory group assisting the principal in identifying educational needs and goals of Ward students. The Council also reviews the school building budget and develops the school improvement plan and is comprised of the principal, current Ward teachers and parents, and community members.
