5th Grade Book Sale to benefit the class:

Tuesday, April 2nd (Set up at 7:30 a.m.), sale at 8:15 and12:30 p.m.

Parents: We have insufficient funds from the little fundraising we have done to even cover the cost of the yearbook. Your participation is needed. The books, hundreds, are left in the gym from the last sale on Election Day. We have been asked to remove these books and many more are in the foyer.

We need adults and children to move the books on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.

to tables set up in front of the school. We will sell the books at 8:15-8:45, and again from 12:30-1:00. We are relying on this sale to make the necessary money to cover our fundraising.
Any remaining books will be donated by the class toMore Than Words in Waltham. All children (and adults) are welcome to sell books as well as come to donate them (remaining books can go right into cars, we will get back to you with the time that we will deliver them to More Than Words. Please make arrangements to get your child there) as part of the Community Service Project.

Though we recognize many of you work, we are concerned about the lack of involvement in the fundraising efforts. If you prefer to send us a check, you may do so. A letter will be sent to you shortly to indicate exactly what we need to cover the cost of the yearbook, tee-shirts, class gift and other incidentals.

These are, historically, things to which the 5th graders look forward, but we may need to cancel them this year if we do not receive/raise the necessary funds.

Thank you,

The 5th Grade Class Committee
