 Ward PTO Annual Fund
November marks the beginning of the Ward PTO's Annual Fund Season! The Annual Fund is the PTO's biggest fundraising activity every year. Our goal for the2014/2015 school year is $22,000. Remember, all funding stays directly at Ward and helps to pay for new playground equipment, Creative Arts & Sciences programs, technology and much more. All donations are tax-deductible. Take advantage of the 2014 tax season and make your donation before the end of the year. Also note that many companies offer matching gift programs - please see if your company can match your gift! Look for more details in letters that went home with your kids this week. Use the supplied envelope and leave a check in the box in the lobby, or pay online at www.wardpto.org.

Ward Community Meetings

The first in a new series of new Ward Community meetings will take place for students on Monday, November 10th with a highlight on Ward spirit. Send your kids to the meeting in style with their very own Ward gear. Shirts, hats, water bottles and more can be purchased online at www.wardpto.org. A portion of the proceeds from each sale directly benefit the Ward PTO.

Dad's Night Out

We are hoping to re-ignite the Ward Dad's Night Out. If anyone is interested in helping coordinate an activity for dads, please let us know - contact Cindy Henry at cindynhenry@gmail.com.

Journey into Jazz Concert, Friday November 7th

We are thrilled to welcome the amazing musical talents of Journey into Jazz to Ward School! The concert will take place this Friday, November 7th in the gymnasium at an all-school assembly. The Creative Arts and Sciences (CASC) program is able to bring these incredible performances to Ward School because of your generous contributions to the Ward School PTO. A huge thank you for your continued support! If you are interested in volunteering at this or other CASC events, please contact Dawn Davis email dawndavis12@gmail.com

Annual Ward Book Fair, December 2nd - 4th

The annual Ward book fair will take place from December 2nd - 4th, including an opportunity to shop on the evening of Thursday, December 4th. Please mark your calendars; additional details (including a request for volunteers) will be forthcoming!
