Please adhere to the following guidelines when reporting your child(s) absences, late arrivals, or dismissals:
If your child is going to be tardy, absent, or dismissed early you need to communicate in the following manner to the Main Office:
Absences: Call 617.559.6470 (not the main number) by 8:45 AM; email is not acceptable.
Late Arrivals (after 8:45 AM): Call 617.559.6470
Early Dismissals: Send a note with your child for "day of" dismissals.
If your child is an AfterSchool student, please contact AfterSchool directly via phone or email with attendance information.
It is the responsibility of the Main Office to quickly account for all children each school day, for the purpose of state reporting and, even more importantly, safety.
Please help us to do this in an efficient manner by adhering to these simple rules. If you are unclear on any of the above, or have questions about a variation on the theme, please call Susan Tempesta in the Main Office for further assistance.
Thank you!
Volunteer to Help with Kindergarten Screening
The PTO is looking for volunteers to help welcome new kindergarten families to Ward when they bring their children for kindergarten screening. This is a great volunteer opportunity for this year's kindergarten families to share what you've learned over the last year with new families. The time commitment is SMALL - just an hour and a half of your time on Monday, March 4 or 5.
Helpers will be collecting directory information from new families, photographing the children for the school's use, escorting parents around the building, and answering questions.

But you have to click the link EACH time you go to shop as the cookie expires after 24 hours.
The payout percentage Ward receives on purchases through the Amazon Associates program (using the link above) is much greater than the payout percentage received through the Amazon Smile program.
