Creative Arts and Sciences (CAS) Update
Dear Parents,
CAS is excited to announce that Ward is having an Artist in Residence on January 9th, 13th, 14th, 15, and 17th.  Giles LaRoche, a renowned papercutting artist, who has visited with Ward 5th grades for the last 2 years, will work with all Ward Students on a Community-based art project that will grace the halls of Ward for years to come.
Each class's art class will be extended to 1-hour to maximize their time with Giles. On the final day of the residency, students will be able to see Giles assemble our community-based art work. We will have limited parent-volunteer opportunities for the week. Please sign up here:

CAS thanks Ms. Brogadir and Ms. Decatur for making this opportunity happen.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any and all questions. More information to follow!

Very truly yours,

CAS Chair
