From the Co-Presidents

We hope you had an enjoyable weekend. We are excited about the fun that awaits us in the final weeks of 2023 at Ward! The Teacher Appreciation Committee is working diligently to wrap holiday gifts for our teachers and staff, showcasing our gratitude at the Teacher Appreciation Lunch scheduled for December 13.

Please stay tuned for our annual fund appeal, which will be coming this week. We hope to have your support in raising funds for all the planned activities for the school and students.

Our next pizza sale is on this Thursday December 7, 2023. With a 12:10 dismissal - what is better than a pizza lunch?! This is open to all after school students as well as all families at pick up. $5 for two slices or for one slice and a cookie & clementine. Thanks for your support! Questions? Contact May Chen at maysueki@hotmail.com.

‘Tis the Season of Giving
This is such a fun time of year to recognize our teachers and staff. As a reminder, the NPS Gift Giving Policy states that:

1. Gifts of commercial value must be presented from the entire class/no individual gifts
2. Gifts may not exceed a value of $150/year
3. Individual gifts in the form of sentimental tokens are allowed
4. This policy does not include gifts for the classroom (if interested in further regulation on gifts for the classroom, please see the NPS Equity Policy).
