To the Wonderful Ward School Community,
Thank you for your warm welcome. It's wonderful to be back at Ward. Mr. Griffin and I have been working together this past week to provide a smooth transition.
Our School Council will be meeting on Wednesday, May 7 at 3:30 in my office to discuss our School Improvemnt Plan and look at some samples for the upcoming PARCC testing. You are welcome to join us.
Please remember that if you choose to return a form for the placement process, it must be in by Monday, 5/5. No exceptions.

Please check for any items your child may have lost in the Lost and Found (located in the basement by the music room). Any items not claimed by May 16th will be cleaned and donated to Cradles to Crayons.

Survey on How Students Get To and From School
March 21, 2014
Dear Ward Families,
The cold seems to be abating (finally) which gives us hope that spring may actually come this year.
In order for the school nurse to be as well prepared as possible to care for students coming to the health room, it is helpful to have the "big picture" perspective for each child.

PTO Meeting ~ Tuesday, January 14th @ 8:45am
Despite my best efforts to cure my ailing hip, it's clear that surgery is now my best option. It is likely that I will be scheduled mid-January; I expect to be out for a 4-6 week recovery. Joe Russo will be appointing an interim principal to cover my absence.
