We have raised $1,800 of our $4,500 goal for to improve our playground. We need your help to make it all the way!
Ward School Children can collect sponsors to participate in fun physical finess challenges on this Thursday afternoon including wallball, freeze dance, jump rope, and basketball.
We will use playgroud improvement funds to:
* pave wallball area
* add hopscotch
* resurface and repaint four square
* paint a US map, and
* replace rotting wood on the playstructure
Don't be shy about asking community members around Ward School to sponsor your child. Many of them love the Ward School playground and will benefit themselves from these improvements. If we are to reach our goal, participants need to average approximately $50 in pledges---so please consider donating even if you can't attend this fun event. Click here to donate online and order Pizza. Checks (made to Ward PTO), pizza orders, and pledge forms can also be returned in the Ward Lobby. The Ward PTO is a 501(c)(3). Parents and babysitters can come join in this fun event while they supervise kids. Afterschool students may participate if they sign an afterschool permission form.
