"Strategies to Support Reading at Home" by Naomi Singer
Friday, November 21st 8:35 am
How do you inspire your child to love reading? What strategies from school can you use at home? How do you choose "just right" books? Ward School's literacy specialist, Naomi Singer, will provide helpful tips on Friday morning. Join us at the monthly PTO Meeting right after drop-off in the Ward library for this useful presentation.

Did you know?
Each year the Ward PTO provides $5,000 to assist our teachers in buying supplies to set-up classrooms. Teachers get funds for their classroom to buy items they'd otherwise not be able to get or would pay for out of their own pockets. A few of the things teachers have bought recently include: mailboxes for completed papers, report folders, craft supplies, books, educational board games, tubs to organize books, transparencies and more. Take a look in the Ward School lobby for pictures of how your PTO contribution is supporting our teachers and our children.
