Having trouble finding Ward?
Some people initiating online orders through the One Cause website (www.onecause.com) are having trouble finding Ward School when searching to assign their purchase. The easiest way to find us is to put in "Newton" in the keyword search and scroll down through the Newton schools to John Ward School. When you use this site, the company you buy from (whether Amazon, Target, Pottery Barn etc.) will automatically contribute between 1% - 20% of the purchase price to Ward PTO, with no extra cost to you!
Kindly forward this email to grandparents, family members and friends who wish to support Ward school.
Holiday Assistance Program
If you have not yet requested a Frosty's Friend letter, now is the time to get one! Frosty's Friends is a Winter Holiday gift drive affiliated with Boston Cares. Families respond to hand-written letters from disadvantaged children with a small holiday gift ($25-40). You and your children buy and wrap items specifically requested for in personal letters written by local children in need. The letters are heartwarming and it is so rewarding to buy a gift for a child and make their wishes come true! We still have 15 letters that need to be fulfilled by Monday, December 8th. We hope that no holiday wishes go unfulfilled during this holiday season. If you are interested, please contact Amy Silberstein (amyjim45@comcast.net) ASAP & she will give you a Frosty's Friend letter. Please help us to help others this holiday season.
Wednesday Night Book Fair Hours
Don't forget about the Wednesday evening family book fair hours! Browse through our great selection on Wednesday from 5:15 to 7:30. 25% of all sales come back to Ward School.
