Next month is National Teacher Recognition Week (May 4-10). This is a great time for the entire Ward School community to come together to show the wonderful teachers and staff in our school how grateful we are to have them as part of our community.  On Tuesday, May 6th, a luncheon is scheduled for the teachers and staff to celebrate their dedication and hard work each and every day for our children.  We are looking for volunteers to contribute homemade desserts, appetizers, flowers, paper goods and assistance with the luncheon's set-up and clean-up.
 
As you know, this school year we asked each grade to provide a monthly breakfast to make our teachers and staff feel appreciated ALL YEAR LONG.   The feedback we received from the staff was sincere appreciation for the delicious food and especially for the special cards and banners they received from the children, which are all hanging up in the teacher's lounge.
