Pick-up Time Changes Due to MCAS
Tuesday, March 31st 3:00pm
Wednesday, April 1st 12:30 Early Release
In order for Massachusetts to administer the MCAS consistently to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, there is a schedule change for Newton schools on Tuesday 31st and April 1st. Instead of Tuesday being a normal 12:30 early release day, all Ward School students will stay in school until 3:00pm. On Wednesday April 1st, all Ward students will be released at 12:30 for an early release day. Please disregard the typo in the ForWard in Ms. Peller's letter that also mentioned March 4th. |
International Night
Wednesday, March 4th
5:45- 8:00 pm
Ward Gym
Don't miss out on this yummy, fun Ward School tradition! Kids get 'passports' to travel to over 20 different country booths, including Armenia, Cambodia, England, Greece, Guyana, India, Italy, Morocco, Sweden, and Turkey! Families bring a dish to share & $5/person ($20/family). Don't let the dish keep you from coming- takeout from your favorite ethnic restaurant works great! We can still use volunteers to stamp passports. Questions or to help-out: Marla Libraty - dlibraty@hotmail.com or 617-795-0181.
