After-School Show

Treasure Island

After-School is looking forward to presenting "Treasure Island" to the Ward community. There is a morning 9:15 am show for the school and a 6:30 pm show for families.

Thursday, April 16th

12:30 Early Release

Movie- "Bedtime Stories" 12:30-3:00

Looking for a fun activity for the early release day next week? Scrambling because you don't have a sitter yet? Have your child join Ward friends and families for a movie in the Ward School gym. Kid sitting, popcorn and water provided. After-School kids also welcome. Cost per child $10. Pizza available for lunch on a preorder basis. Please complete a form (in backpacks and lobby) and send check made to Ward School PTO by Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00 in the box outside the office if you'd like to sign your kids up.

After-School Registration

April is the month to register your child for After-School for 2009-2010. If you filled out an application in March, you will receive your registration packet this week with necessary forms (families with incoming Kindergartners will receive their packets in June, once the "A" and "B" groups are determined by the school). For children in grades 1-5, registration packets are due back by April 30, along with a one month's nonrefundable deposit.

If you have not applied to After-School for next year and you are interested, slots are now being filled on a first come, first serve basis so please call Donna (617-965-3087) or email (wardafter@juno.com)
as soon as possible.
