Ward School, the Wonderful Ward School

As I sit and reflect on all my years at Ward the first thing that comes
to my mind is the warmth of people and community.  Not just the community of the staff, but the
community of the families.  It takes a
joint effort of "town and gown" to bring to fruition the many successes of our
children and families here at Ward.  It
is great satisfaction to be a part of it, even just a small part.  I feel very fortunate.

I want to thank the wonderful parents, the generosity of the PTO, the
support and affection shown by the parents and children alike during my many
years at Ward.  This is definitely a
wonderful place to be.  And now the time
has come for me to move on.

I look forward to many years of sitting on my patio with a glass in my
hand and watching my garden grow.  My
memories are many of the laughs, the camaraderie, the sharing, that I will take
with me and reflect on as I sit and watch my garden.
