Color Day is on Wednesday, June 3!
Color Day is one of the kids’ favorite days all year, and it’s a great way to celebrate the end of the school year. We need your help! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 3rd, with a rain date of June 10.
What is Color Day?
Color Day is an all-day event where students come together as a community to celebrate the year with activities and games on the field. Students are divided by their teacher into a color team consisting of red, green, or blue and encouraged, but not required to wear their assigned color.
This day brings immense joy, smiles, and memories not only to the students but also to the staff and parents.
Color Day Activities
The morning kicks off with a Water Balloon Toss on the tennis courts at 8:45 am, followed by an energizing Opening Ceremony with staff to set the tone for the day. Throughout Color Day, students will rotate through a variety of engaging activities at different stations. While Ms. Pargoli has thoughtfully planned each station, we rely on enthusiastic volunteers to supervise and cheer on each group. Having enough volunteers for both the scheduled date (6/3) and the rain date is crucial to ensure a smooth and memorable event, regardless of the weather.
How you can help
We couldn't do this without you! To make this day happen, we need your support in overseeing the premade stations. We will need help setting up. Additionally, the first "shift" will be from about 8:30 am to 10:15, and the second shift will be from 10:15-12 pm.
Please feel free to sign up for one time slot or stay the whole day. If there are no slots left, email Julia here, and she will fit you in. Thank you, and looking forward to a great day together!
We hope to see you there!
From the Color Day Team,
Julia Maggiore, Elizabeth Loehr, and Ms. Pargoli
