ForWard 10.25.26
From the Co-Presidents:
What a beautiful fall we are having! As October wraps up, we still have so many fun Ward traditions to look forward to, including our Fall Spooktacular, Movie Night, and Family Fun Night at a Boston College football game. These events are some of our favorite opportunities to come together, connect with other families, and have fun as a community. We hope to see you there!
We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to our Annual Fund so far. Thanks to your generosity, we've raised $18,764.50 toward our $40,000 baseline fundraising goal! At this time last year, we had already raised over $21,000. Let's come together as a school community to match that total! Your donations directly support the programs, experiences, and resources our students benefit from throughout the year. Each donation makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the support we’ve received from Ward families.
If you haven’t had a chance to contribute and would like to, you can donate here. Also, check whether your employer offers matching gifts—it’s an easy way to double the impact of your contribution. To learn more about where PTO funds go and what your donations make possible, view our fundraising and expenses slide deck here.
Thank you to Elizabeth Weinberg and Peter Chang for hosting the 3rd Grade potluck on October 20th. These gatherings are such a lovely way to reconnect, meet new families, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Ward so special.
A huge thank you to our Fun Run chairs, Rob Berschinski and Cristina Garcia, and to all our amazing volunteers for making this year’s Fun Run such a success! Your time, hard work, and dedication made it all possible. We truly appreciate everything you do!
